Nancy Murtagh – Paralegal

I love my job as a paralegal for The Grossman Law Firm.

I genuinely strive to provide the best service and care to all clients and potential clients. Knowing that I can comfort those in distress makes my job very rewarding.

In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends.

Karla Portillo – Paralegal

I have been working at The Grossman Law Firm since 2011. I was born and raised in El Salvador before becoming an American citizen. As a bilingual legal assistant, I have the pleasure of being the main liaison for our Spanish speaking clients.

I fully appreciate the frustrations that come along with personal injury matters and I am committed to helping our injured clients through the process whether it is to related to getting the medical attention they need, navigating insurance related issues or acting as a sounding board. By the time we reach resolution of matters, many of the clients have become like family to me.

In my free time I enjoy spending quality time with family and partaking in outdoor activities.

Bari Schwadel-Ludwig – Paralegal

I am a Paralegal here at The Grossman Law Firm. I enjoy coming to the office every day and working with people who I have become extremely close with over the years. I get great joy out of helping our clients and strive to ensure they are given the treatment they deserve and help facilitate the best outcome possible.

In my free time I enjoy spending time with my husband at the beach and enjoying time outdoors together.

Faith Alicandro – Paralegal

I have been a paralegal at The Grossman Law Firm for years. Our clients are our priority, and we aim to be the most zealous advocates for them.

I am currently pursuing my juris doctorate degree while working full-time. I am looking forward to integrating my education with my position here at the firm to create the best outcomes for our clients.

Julie Downes – Medical Coding and Billing Analyst

I’ve been with The Grossman Law Firm since the begining in 2003! I’ve worked behind the scenes on number PIP arbitration cases (when NJ auto insurance companies refuse to pay medical bills). I review all our client medical bills and chart all medical treatment. It’s been really rewarding to be a small part of helping our clients get through a tough time.

Tara Gates – Client Coordinator

I am a Client Coordinator at The Grossman Law Firm and the first point of contact between a potential client and our firm. Having been in a motor vehicle accident myself, I understand first-hand how stressful it can be immediately attempting to navigate insurance and injury related matters. I strive to provide a compassionate, respectful, and empathetic ear while facilitating communication between clients, Paralegals and Attorneys.

In addition to working at the Firm, I am also continuing my education in pursuit of a Sociology degree. I love being able to apply what I have learned in school to my day to day at the Firm, and truly enjoy having the opportunity to speak with and assist clients from different backgrounds and cultures. I am excited to continue learning and growing with the Grossman Law Firm!

In my free time I enjoy going to concerts and comedy shows and spending time with friends, loved ones and my rescue dog, Maple.

Caren Caplan – Paralegal

Although I have been a Paralegal for many years, I recently joined the Grossman Law Firm.  I am grateful to be a team member of a law firm that is dedicated to their clients and strives for the best possible outcome for everyone.  Our Logo is “Because It’s Personal” and those words could not be anymore true.   The process is not easy, it can be long, tedious, and overwhelming when you are injured and seeking medical treatment.  The best part of my job is helping our clients navigate through all the moving parts and putting their minds at ease.  

In my free time I enjoy spending time with my dogs, my family and scrapbooking.
